The Student Services/Life team plays an important role in carrying out the mission of Hult International Business School by fostering learning via co-curricular programming and student on-campus involvement. Central to Student Services/Life is the commitment towards creating an enriching, supportive, and inclusive environment that empowers students to thrive and succeed. This position involves responsibilities related to the planning, coordination and execution of campus events. These events may involve and occasional work on weeknights and weekends. The Student Services/Life Coordinator role provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Student Services/Life and explore the following functional areas: Advising, guidance and support for student clubs and organizations Coordination of all key Graduate and some select campus-wide events, cultural, social and sports activities In close coordination and collaboration with other members of the campus team, fostering student success and supporting overall student experience outside the classroom. Position Overview: Under the supervision of the Student Services/Life Manager, Student Services/Life Coordinator supports the Student Services/Life team and contributes to the long and short-term goals of the department and its programs. Working in a variety of areas, the Student Services/Life Coordinator will assist in the day-to-day delivery of programs and services, as follows: Main responsibilities: Serves as an advisor for student clubs/organizations, help with event planning and logistics Facilitate and support all major on and off-campus graduate student focused events Support key departmental signature programs such as student Intake and Orientation, International Culture Festival, Student Life Awards, Hult Prize, Summer Rotation, and Commencement Ensure compliance with school’s policies and guidelines Lead the promotion of student life events using social media channels, print material, and other forms of appropriate communication to the campus community Encourage and support students, student organizations, departments, and academic programs, on events that benefit the student community and align with the school’s mission Assist in the development of club leadership resource guides and programming materials Cultivate and maintain strong working relationships with staff, faculty, and students Administrative coverage for campus student services-based needs Other duties and projects as assigned Qualifications: Excellent communication skills (spoken and written) and a strong visual eye Personable, persuasive, and a strong influencer, with the ability to cultivate and maintain relationships Creative marketing experience (Canva, digital marketing, advanced PowerPoint, etc.) and high attention to detail Demonstrates a genuine interest in student success and work with international students A driven, service-oriented team player motivated to take initiative and smart risks Flexible approach to work and able to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment Collegial attitude and able to work collaboratively across teams and campuses Why you’ll love working here: Perks, Benefits, and more!
