The Quality Manager is responsible for supporting the implementation and maintenance of quality management systems, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role combines technical expertise with process management to maintain high product/service quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining quality control procedures, standards, and specifications
• Develop & Monitor quality performance metrics and prepare detailed reports for senior management
• Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to ensure compliance with established standards
• Investigate quality issues and customer complaints, implementing corrective actions as needed
• Support the training of staff on quality procedures and best practices
• Collaborate with various departments to improve processes and reduce quality-related issues
• Document and maintain quality records in accordance with ISO standards and regulatory requirements
• Participate in quality improvement projects and initiatives

Required Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in quality control or related field
• Knowledge of electrical wiring, motors and general mechanics
• Knowledge of quality management systems and standards (ISO 9001, TS16949, etc.)
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and quality control tools (Power Query, Power BI, Pivot Tables)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software
• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards
• Experience with quality management software systems
• Project management experience

Working Conditions

• Primary work location in office/production environment
• May require occasional travel to supplier facilities
• Regular working hours with occasional overtime as needed
• Will require wearing personal protective equipment in certain areas

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
