We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Practice Administrator to lead operations for a dynamic, multi-location ENT (Ear, Nose & Throat) medical group. This role functions at the Chief Operating Officer (COO) level and is responsible for driving operational excellence, provider efficiency, and scalable growth strategies across all sites. The ideal candidate brings strong executive leadership, a deep understanding of specialty care delivery, and a proven track record of managing large, complex healthcare operations.

Responsibilities

  • Multi-Site Operations Management
  • Oversee daily operations of multiple ENT practice locations, ensuring clinical and administrative workflows are efficient, standardized, and patient-focused.
  • Develop and enforce practice-wide policies, procedures, and performance benchmarks.
  • Coordinate with medical directors, providers, and site leaders to ensure consistent, high-quality patient care delivery.
  • Collaborate with ownership and executive leadership to develop and execute long-term strategic plans for practice growth, service line expansion, and geographic development.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to enhance operational scalability and clinical performance.
  • Oversee practice budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance, working closely with the finance and billing teams.
  • Monitor KPIs such as provider productivity, revenue cycle metrics, and cost containment.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors, payers, and service providers to ensure financial sustainability.
  • Conduct performance reviews, create development plans, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Manage staffing models and scheduling for optimal clinical coverage and efficiency.
  • Ensure full compliance with healthcare regulations including HIPAA, OSHA, CMS, and state licensure requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s in Healthcare Administration (MHA), Business (MBA), or related field strongly preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive healthcare leadership experience, ideally in a multi-location specialty practice (ENT or surgical subspecialty preferred).
  • Proven track record of managing clinical operations, driving financial performance, and scaling healthcare practices.
