Schedule: · 7 days on/7 days off from Thursday-Wednesday 9:30pm-7:15am · No phlebotomy experience or certification required. On-the-job training full-time for 5-6 weeks. If the Home Town feel that Bemidji offers sounds right for you, come check us out! **Job Summary** Uses equipment to collect samples of blood and other fluids from patients; explains procedures to patients and collects information from them in a professional manner. Collects and manages samples of blood and specimens from patients; ensures patient safety during the sample collection process. Records and documents patient information accurately. Follows all standard procedures and safety regulations; deploys asepsis techniques during phlebotomy procedures. Communicates with patients, collecting their health information and answering their questions regarding phlebotomy procedures. **Qualifications** High school graduate or equivalent required. Previous work experience in a medical setting is beneficial. Basic knowledge of human anatomy and medical terminology.
