Our client is a large corporation that is seeking a litigation attorney to join their team for at least 3-4 months, for 15-20 hours per week to help their in-house team. In this role, the attorney will be managing various litigation matters, including auto and premises liability cases. The attorney will write cases up and obtain settlement authority. They will also work with outside counsel, including , reviewing and approving discovery, as well as facilitating and coordinating witness depositions; and potentially attending certain depositions (via Zoom or in person) if complex/high exposure. The attorney should also be comfortable occasionally review and edit briefs.
