Job Description

Our client is a large corporation that is seeking a litigation attorney to join their team for at least 3-4 months, for 15-20 hours per week to help their in-house team. In this role, the attorney will be managing various litigation matters, including auto and premises liability cases. The attorney will write cases up and obtain settlement authority. They will also work with outside counsel, including , reviewing and approving discovery, as well as facilitating and coordinating witness depositions; and potentially attending certain depositions (via Zoom or in person) if complex/high exposure. The attorney should also be comfortable occasionally review and edit briefs.

Job Details

• Location: prefer a candidate local to Atlanta, GA - able to meet the team in person at the beginning of the assignment before becoming remote
• Start/Duration: ASAP, to continue 4+ months
• Hours per week: 15-20 hours per week
• Rate: $90-115 per hour, depending on experience

Requirements

• Ability to commute to Atlanta, GA location for training
• Bar admission active in any US state
• At least 3-4 years of law firm litigation experience to work with their in-house litigation team
• Some experience with insurance defense work (especially auto and slip and fall cases) is required
