Job Description

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in the Human Resources department, offering support across various HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, insurance claims management, and general HR duties. This role demands a proactive individual who is ready to contribute to the smooth running of HR operations within the construction industry.

Day to day duties:

  • Handling recruitment and onboarding, managing insurance claims, and assisting with filing and other HR tasks.
  • Source, screen, and interview candidates for various positions within the company.
  • Coordinate and conduct new hire orientations and onboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition for new employees.
  • Assist with handling and processing employee insurance claims efficiently and accurately, liaising with insurance providers to resolve any issues.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of all insurance claims and related documentation.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Provide support in employee relations, including conflict resolution and performance management.
  • Conduct regular HR audits to ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Manage employee records and ensure data accuracy in HR systems.
  • Coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
  • Support payroll processing and benefits administration, ensuring compliance with all labor laws.

Requirements:

  • MUST have multi-state experience
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, and general HR duties.
  • Familiarity with handling insurance claims is a plus.
  • Construction terminology and knowledge are a plus.
