Facilities Manager

Job Description : We are looking for a skilled and experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the operations of a large residential estate located in Houston, TX. This role will be responsible for the maintenance and smooth operation of the estate’s mechanical and electrical systems as well as the surrounding grounds. The ideal candidate will have experience with operations and maintenance of household mechanical systems as well groundskeeping. This role requires a hands-on professional who will work closely with the family and other staff to ensure the home and grounds are maintained to the highest standard.

Job Requirements:

· At least 5 years of experience in property management or groundskeeping. Work experience with luxury estates is a plus but not a requirement.

· Strong knowledge of groundskeeping, landscaping, swimming pool maintenance, and irrigation systems.

· Hands-on experience with water filtration systems and emergency generators is a plus but not a requirement.

· Proficient with tools and equipment for grounds and household maintenance.

· Discreet, trustworthy, and professional.

· Flexible and adaptable to shifting priorities or tasks.

Responsibilities:

· Coordinate vendors and handle basic household repairs and maintenance tasks, including managing water filtration systems and emergency generators.

· Maintain all exterior areas of the estate, including lawns, gardens, patios, outdoor kitchen, and pool areas.

· Collaborate with landscapers and other vendors to ensure the grounds are maintained impeccably.

· Operate and maintain irrigation systems, addressing any repairs or adjustments as needed.

· Oversee the organization and maintenance of the garage, and assist in managing the care and upkeep of the vehicle fleet.

· Provide additional hands-on support for tasks related to the outdoor areas or household requests.

· Perform regular inspections of the property to identify and resolve potential issues promptly.

· Provide occasional weekend support for special projects or urgent tasks.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with occasional weekend availability as needed.
