Position Details

KPMG is seeking a Director – Financial Instruments and Hedge Accounting for our Deal Advisory practice.

Responsibilities

  1. Drive growth in KPMG's financial instruments and hedge accounting services, supporting client needs and developing tools to enhance delivery efficiency.
  2. Lead education and development of Accounting Advisory team members through formal training and client engagement opportunities.
  3. Prepare and present accounting findings, including drafting technical whitepapers and presentations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of seven years' recent financial audit or accounting advisory experience with a public accounting or advisory firm.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited institution.
  • CPA license or equivalent required.
  • Extensive experience with accounting standards related to financial instruments, derivatives, hedge accounting, embedded derivatives, and risk management in debt, equity, and commodities.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IFRS.
  • Willingness and ability to travel.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
