Position Overview

As Director - NYC Operations, you will lead the firm's New York City office, overseeing a robust team of architects and engineers in the planning and execution of large-scale building envelope and structural restoration projects. You will drive operational excellence, team performance, and client satisfaction, while also expanding our project portfolio and market share.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide executive leadership to the NYC office, fostering collaboration and technical excellence across all disciplines
* Oversee and manage complex restoration projects from concept through construction, with an emphasis on structural systems and building envelope
* Serve as the primary client liaison for high-profile accounts; ensure exceptional service delivery and project outcomes
* Mentor and manage a multidisciplinary team of architects, engineers, and project managers
* Develop and implement business development strategies to expand the firm's presence in the NYC metro area
* Ensure compliance with all city and state regulations, including reporting and inspections related to building façade and structural safety

Qualifications

* 15+ years of relevant industry experience, including direct oversight of building envelope and structural restoration projects
* Proven track record of executive-level leadership and team management within a high-performing architectural or engineering consultancy
* Strong business development acumen and existing industry relationships in NYC
* Active QEWI (Qualified Exterior Wall Inspector) and QPSI (Qualified Parking Structure Inspector) credentials (required)
* Deep familiarity with NYC DOB regulations, FISP/local law compliance, and restoration best practices
* Exceptional communication, client relationship, and strategic planning skills
