The Quality Technician is responsible for supporting CMM programming and inspecting parts. This role demands strong attention to detail, technical expertise, and flexibility to succeed in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ability to read and understand customer drawings (GD&T) to assure alignment with customer specifications.
• Ability to program to PCDMIS CAD++, 2023 and later versions on Hexagon Global CMM.
• Ability to inspect machined parts using all shop inspection tools and gages.
• Collaborate with shop floor teams to troubleshoot inspection issues, ensuring minimal downtime and high-quality output.
• Maintain detailed records of quality documents as needed and process changes to support traceability and quality assurance.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure all processes comply with safety regulations, aerospace standards (e.g., AS9100), and customer requirements.
• Other Duties as assigned by the Quality Manager to support operational goals.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Manufacturing Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related field with 2 years of relevant experience, OR
• Five years’ experience in a similar role, preferably Aerospace, Automotive or other highly regulated industry
