Position Overview

Our client is looking to add an experienced Superintendent to their growing team in Raleigh, NC . The ideal candidate will have a solid background in managing ground-up commercial construction projects. This individual will take ownership of all onsite activities, ensuring that work is completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest standards. This is a hands-on leadership role that demands exceptional coordination skills and a deep understanding of field operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead day-to-day onsite operations for commercial construction projects, from ground-breaking to completion.
• Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring milestones are met and deadlines are achieved.
• Serve as the onsite liaison between project managers, subcontractors, vendors, and tradespeople.
• Conduct daily site walks to monitor safety compliance, quality of work, and project progress.
• Solve issues proactively and maintain clear, consistent communication across all levels of the project.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and performance among field teams.
• Work closely with the project management team to optimise efficiency and overcome project challenges.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Superintendent on ground-up commercial construction projects.
• Strong working knowledge of commercial construction techniques, safety protocols, and scheduling.
• Confident, clear communicator with strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• OSHA 30 certification required; additional certifications a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
