The Accountant under general supervision, understands the company's business systems, business processes and controls, including policies and procedures, relative to the location and department assigned. Salary: 100,000.00 per year Responsibilities: Prepare accounting reports and conduct increasingly complex accounting analyses using spreadsheets and applications, identifying and resolving issues. Prepare and post journal vouchers for accounting transactions. Research and resolve basic accounting issues and transactions, including related internal controls. Develop proficiency in general accounting, internal controls, financial analysis and reporting, forecasting, and financial applications. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting. Minimum of 9 months of experience in accounting. CPA eligible and planning to obtain certification. Knowledge of US GAAP. Experience with Hyperion systems is a plus. Experience with SAP/S4 is a plus. Experience with Workiva is a plus. Strong critical thinking and analytical skills. Solid attention to detail, highly organized, and excellent time management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft applications, such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Understanding of the company's organizational structure.
